Went for the first time today. Our server, Kim, was great. She told us what was on the buffet and what drinks were available. We decided on the buffet. I had the catfish filets, mashed potatoes, fried potatoes with onion, green beans, chicken liver and the hushpuppies. The liver was perfectly seasoned and not greasy. The catfish was really good. And the rest was just as good. I had the banana pudding for dessert. It was all good and we will be going back again.

First time but definitely not the last time to eat here. Ate from the buffet. Best catfish, real mashed potatoes, everything was delicious . Real home cooking

Had the large catfish plate, they get the good wild caught fish from Lake City Fresh Fish Market. Fish, slaw, and fries were excellent. Only quibble I had was with the hush puppies, they were "chewy" like chewing on a piece of light bread. Never ran into anything like that before. They still tasted fine. As my Best Fried Catfish Quest continues, Brown's Hometown Market near Grand Rivers, KY remains my favorite!

What an awesome spot we stopped based on the billboard on the highway and we were happy. Jen, our waitress was great, kept drinks refilled, plates cleared and was very friendly. Catfish was delicious, as was the pulled pork, taters, corn, beans, green beans and hush puppies. Very good spot easy on and out on the road, would eat here again if passing through.

On a trip though the area and planning a lunch stop, a search on google ensued for the beat restaurants in the area it was narrowed down to 2 choices. Marsha helped to make the decision after describing what was on their lunch buffet. This place made the final cut. The restaurant was easy find. Clean parking lot and 15 -20 customers enjoying their lunch in a spacious environment. The whole restaurant was clean and Beth was the server. I gave them a perfect rating. The chicken livers, catfish nuggets & salad bar were my favorite. Only cost about $15 person.

The food was presented in an all-you-can-eat buffer bar style, with proper sneeze-proof glass, UůThere were a good amount of plates and small bowls; silverware be napki *zdelivered . It was real good, down-home country fare, with a good selection of your country favorites, which differs each day. The service was awesome with real friendly staff. Kem (proper spelling of her name) was a hoot! She was attentive, and helpful, with on-the-spot drink refills, Pepsi products, sweet and unsweet tea, and coffee. I sampled: Chicken Tenders Fried Chicken gizzards Catfish Sweet corn Beans Green beans Mashed potatoes BBQ Fried potatoes and onions Hush puppies Blueberry Cobbler Lemon cake It was all so good! They didn't have any bread on the bar, but when I asked about it, she brought me out some freshly made, 'Sister Schubert' Yeast Rolls, no extra charge, that tasted so good. You should be able to buy them from your local grocery store. I recommend them!) All in all, a fine meal can be had, if you like down home, down on the farm, country food. I really do! Go getchu some! Madisonville, KY is about 1 hour from Clarksville Tennessee's Exit 1 on I-24.
